Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Culinary professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a secure background, a strong understanding of food safety standards, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This role involves running an established operation and preparing high-quality dishes, ensuring exceptional presentation, and contributing to menu development.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
• Collaborate with team members to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Participate in training new kitchen staff on techniques and safety protocols.
• Engage with customers to understand their preferences and provide excellent service.

Skills

• Proficient in various cooking techniques and methods.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction.
• Creativity in menu planning and presentation of dishes.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $42, $50,000.00 per year
