Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for guest relations. The Front Desk Agent will handle various responsibilities related to guest check-in and check-out, reservations, and overall guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently.
  • Handle reservations and provide information about hotel services and amenities.
  • Address guest inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and transactions.
  • Assist with night audit duties as required.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Provide recommendations for local attractions, dining options, and activities.
  • Uphold high standards of phone etiquette when handling calls from guests or potential customers.
  • Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.

Experience

  • Previous experience in the hospitality/customer service industry required. Current or prior hotel experience strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with front desk operations in a hotel or resort setting is a plus.
  • Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
  • Strong skills in guest relations with an emphasis on creating positive experiences.
  • Knowledge of night audit procedures is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on phone etiquette and interpersonal interactions.
