for an organization located in
Yolo County
This role will oversee recruiting, onboarding, benefits, compliance, and employee relations while driving a culture of safety, well-being, and engagement across the organization. Interested in more details?

Core duties and responsibilities include:

  • Lead all HR operations including recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and compliance.
  • Manage employee benefits programs (healthcare, 401K, leaves of absence) and serve as a trusted resource for staff.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws, updating policies and handbooks as needed.
  • Oversee workplace safety programs, training, and OSHA reporting.
  • Partner with leadership to maintain positive employee relations and address issues proactively.
  • Conduct and review accident investigations and drive continuous process improvements.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • 5+ years of HR experience
  • Proven experience running biweekly payroll and managing 401K and benefits administration.
  • Strong understanding of California labor, wage, and safety laws.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR related software systems.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is from $80K to $90K, depending on experience.
