Position Summary: The Clinical Program Manager is responsible for the administrative / clinicalsupervision of clinical programs ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to patients. The Clinical Program Manager will provide program development, coordination and implementation of services to ensure the highest quality of patient care. Responsibilities includes procuring information from patients, community, and community liaison team, designing, implementing and managing quality of services to patients.
Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities
1. Provides direction and maintains responsibility for assigned programs, from a clinical, financial and safety standpoint.
2. Assists DCS in planning and leading business development activities for programs.
3. Is responsible for staff assignments and clinical coverage.
4. Ensures needs of physicians, referral sources and other community resources are met.
5. Develops and monitors Performance Improvement activities.
6. Provides or arranges for the provision of necessary clinical education for staff members.
7. Maintains good working relationships with other hospital departments.
8. Ensures that Policies and Procedures developed by hospital administration are implemented in an accurate and expedient manner.
9. Monitors closely the use of special treatment procedures or any other restriction of rights to ensure compliance with hospital policies.
10. Participates in processing of grievances generated by patients, their guardians, and staff or outside agencies.
11. Effectively represents the hospital within the community, with professional organizations, consumers and stakeholders.
12. Ensures that quality and appropriateness of programs are reviewed and corrected as needed on a regular basis.
13. Ensures group therapy is conducted 7 days a week at the standard schedule. If group therapy session is not conducted, Program Manager will ensure patients will obtain group sessions at said times
Education: Masters Degree required
Licensure/Certification/Registration (List the required and / or preferred licenses, certifications, or
registrations, if any)
LCSW, LMSW, LPC, or LPC (S) -Required
