We are looking for an highly skilled and experienced Computer Technician & Board Level Repair Technician to join our team.

Requirements:

  • Full computer repair and diagnostics, must have repair shop experience
  • Expert-level experience in logic board repairs and micro soldering – no training provided.
  • Proficient in Mac, PC, and cellphone logic board and part swap repairs.
  • Strong diagnostic skills using DC power supply, multimeter, and schematics.
  • Ability to quickly identify and repair shorts or faulty components without unnecessary delays.
  • Skilled in chip rebelling, micro-soldering, and data recovery from faulty boards.
  • Proficient in NAND chip data recovery for MacBooks and experienced with iSocket for data recovery.
  • Must be efficient and precise – we are not looking for technicians with outdated or slow repair skills.
  • Must be able to diagnose and repair boards quickly and correctly without causing further damage.
  • Will be involved in creating professional repair videos alongside our team, showcasing board repairs, diagnostics, and advanced microsoldering techniques in our fully equipped repair studio.

Pay: $ $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week

Application Question(s):

  • How many years of experience do you have in logic board repair and microsoldering? What types of devices have you worked on (Mac, PC, iPhone, iPad, etc.)?
  • In short What is your process for diagnosing logic board issues, including power failures and short circuits? What tools do you use, such as a DC power supply, multimeter, and oscilloscope?
  • How comfortable are you with microsoldering, replacing SMD components, damaged connectors, fuses, and resistors? Have you reflowed or reball BGA chips, and what method do you prefer?
  • Have you performed NAND chip repairs and data recovery for MacBooks? Do you have experience using iSocket or other tools for extracting data from damaged boards?
  • How well do you understand and use MacBook schematics and boardview software like ZXW, FlexBV, or OpenBoardView for tracing faults and repairing missing power rails?
  • How quickly can you diagnose and repair a logic board issue? Have you worked in a fast-paced repair environment where speed and precision were essential?
  • Are you comfortable working in a fully equipped repair studio with tools like hot air stations, microscopes, and oscilloscopes? Would you be open to recording repair videos with our team?
