Director of Data & Analytics

Mutual of Enumclaw is seeking a
Director of Data & Analytics
to lead our enterprise analytics function and help turn data into trusted, actionable insight across the organization. This role is ideal for a collaborative, strategic leader who enjoys building strong analytics capabilities and partnering across business and technology teams.

Location:
Hybrid role with 10-15% travel

Hiring Range:
$182,200 - $202,400

Salary Range:
$182,200 - $234,200

What You'll Do
‒

  • Lead and evolve our enterprise analytics function, including dashboards, reporting, and self-service analytics.
  • Own the analytics product portfolio supporting Underwriting, Claims, Sales, Product, and Finance.
  • Establish standards for data quality, accessibility, and governance to ensure consistent, reliable information.
  • Partner closely with IT and data engineering to align analytics delivery with enterprise data strategy.
  • Oversee the full BI lifecycle—from requirements through adoption and ongoing improvement.
  • Implement analytics operations practices to support scalable, repeatable analytics and model deployment.

What You Bring
‒

  • Proven experience building and leading enterprise analytics or BI teams.
  • Strong expertise in data governance, data quality, and analytics product management.
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear analytics priorities and solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with modern BI platforms, data visualization, and analytics operations concepts.

What We're Looking For
‒

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of analytics, BI, or data management experience, including 5+ years in leadership.
  • Experience in insurance, financial services, or a regulated industry is a plus.
