Are you passionate about making AI systems safe, secure, and trustworthy? Microsoft's Responsible AI (RAI) team in CoreAI is seeking a hands-on, entrepreneurial Principal Technical Program Manager (TPM) with deep expertise in responsible AI risks and mitigation strategies, and a drive to build innovative solutions that enable responsible AI at scale.
Microsoft's RAI team on CoreAI helps ensure the responsible development and deployment of cutting-edge AI-first products across Microsoft. If you join the RAI team, you will join an organization committed to partnering with stakeholders across policy, research, and engineering to help every product team in Microsoft ship these evolving technologies responsibly.
In this role, you will develop tools, frameworks, and processes and conduct assessments that help teams manage responsible AI risks. You will collaborate across policy, research, engineering, and operations to translate responsible AI principles into practical solutions that integrate efficiently into AI development workflows.
Success in this role requires a proven technical foundation, understanding of generative AI use cases, and fluency in responsible AI measurement and mitigation techniques. You should be comfortable navigating ambiguity, driving clarity across cross-functional teams, and influencing organizational practices. You will leverage your ability to pattern-match, your product-oriented mindset, and your user-centric approach to continuously improve Microsoft's responsible AI ecosystem and to directly shape the next wave of AI products.
Microsoft's mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals.
