Toddler Teacher - START NOW
We are hiring Experienced Infant and Toddler Educators

Position is for 4 days 10 hours a day. Day off will be determined at date of hire. Must be available to work the ours the school is open. 6:30 am-6:30 pm Monday - Friday. Possible part-time position open as well.

Qualifications:
  • Must meet or exceed DHS Rule 3 requirements for Lead Teacher or Assistant Teacher
  • Team Player and Positive working relationship a must
  • Familiar with Rule 3 Requirements and Developmentally Appropriate Activities for young children
  • First Aid and CPR current - On site training available
  • Previous teaching or assistant teaching position with a quality preschool or child care center is preferred
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervises a classroom
  • Plans and helps implement the daily lesson plans and classroom activities
  • Accepts responsibility for maintenance and necessary housekeeping duties of the classroom, common use areas and playgrounds
  • Assists and coordinates snacks, meals, nap time and bathroom activities
  • Provides the children with verbal praises and acceptance while providing clear and consistent expectations for the children's behavior
  • Maintains the Primrose Schools professional attitude and work behavior
  • Attends all required staff meetings, workshops and/or school functions as determined by the Director
  • Observes all rules and regulations of Primrose Schools and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children
  • Maintains professional personal appearance adhering to the guidelines offered in the training manual
  • Assists in other capacities, as determined by the Director
  • Follows the schedule, as determined by the Director
Related Experience: Lead Teacher Child care or Day care, Assistant Teacher Child care or Daycare, Aide Childcare or Daycare, Substitute Teacher, Elementary Education Teacher or Instructor, Lead Preschool Teacher, Lead Prekindergarten Teacher, Pre-K, Infant Teacher, Toddler Teacher.
