SUNSET FOOD MART, INC. is currently interviewing for a Bakery Manager at our Lake Forest, IL location.Sunset Foods is a neighborhood supermarket, dedicated to providing the finest customer service found anywhere. We are small enough to get to know our customers, yet large enough to offer the most outstanding selection at competitive prices. We are committed to finding and training friendly, conscientious and knowledgeable staff to help us provide the freshest, highest quality products in clean, fun-to-shop stores.Requirements include:· Excellent supervisory, communication and customer service skills;· Ability to oversee operations and staffing for the bakery department within a grocery store;· Manage pastry making/baking, inventory and purchasing for the department;· Monitor quality of goods and service within the bakery department;· Responsible for the department staff training, assignments, and scheduling;· Accountable for monitoring and achieving sales, purchasing, and labor targets;· Must maintain proper product assortment, merchandising, and inventory control;· High school diploma or its equivalent;· Minimum 2-3 years' experience in bakery is preferred;· Must be able to lift 50 pounds;· Must be able to be exposed to temperatures: 90 degrees Fahrenheit.Extraordinary benefits package including Medical, Dental, Life, Vision and Short-Term Disability Insurance, 401(k), Paid-Time-Off (PTO), Paid Training, etc.For interview and information please contact Bianca at Job Type: Full-timePay: $45, $50,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offPaid trainingVision insuranceWork Location: In person
