Our client is hiring a full-time Sales Executive targeting the oil and gas industry based out of Houston TX, while the parent company is a global organization. This expert is responsible for developing new business, managing customer relationships, and supporting revenue and growth objectives through close collaboration with internal and external partners. Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new opportunities within the oil and gas verticals
  • Manage and expand relationships with existing customers
  • Source supply options and obtain pricing from suppliers
  • Analyze costs and market conditions to prepare competitive quotations and margins
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline to meet financial targets
  • Collaborate with sales, logistics, finance, suppliers, and service providers
  • Monitor market trends and identify opportunities and risks
  • Travel to visit customers and attend industry events
  • Resolve customer issues and ensure compliance with company procedures

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant sales experience, or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience in industrial or specialty chemicals preferred – gas and oil industries
  • Demonstrated record of sales growth and market development
  • Strong commercial judgment, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
  • High integrity, strong work ethic, and team-oriented approach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP/CRM experience a plus
  • Willingness to travel as required
