MUST have a valid State Driver's License.
Motor Vehicle Requirement (18 years of age, valid state driver's license, and no DUI/DWI's within the last 12 months).

OFFICAL MVR RECORD must be checked POST-OFFER and RECEIVED by Tyson before applicant will be moved into position.

MUST HAVE PREVIOUS GENERAL MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE OR EQUIVALENT SCHOOL TRAINING documented in your work history and/or resume in order for your application to be reviewed.

MUST PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS TASKED BY ADMINISTRATION.

MUST BE SAFE AND OBSERVE ALL OF TYSONS POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.

Job Description:

Must have knowledge of electrical and mechanical experience such as; motor wiring, control wiring, run conduit, pull wiring.Must have knowledge of NEC, electronics, PLC, Computers.Must be able to perform mechanical and electrical duties and adjustments as required by supervisor.Must be able to pass all mechanical knowledge and hands on test within 30 daysMust be able to read, write and have a basic knowledge of mathMust have and maintain a good attendance work recordMust be able to read manuals written in EnglishMust be able to understand and agree to follow Safety Rules (ie.Lockout/Tagout)Work other shifts when necessary.Must be able to comply with OSHA standards.Work very closely with other maintenance personnel in order to receive and pass along information concerning the job.All other duties as requested by the supervisor.Must have good hand-eye coordination. Capable of moving equipment, machinery, etc., in excess of 50 pounds when needed.Must be able to work on and inspect equipment, which may involve bending, turning, stooping, twisting, and climbing Able to move freely throughout the plant (indoors and outdoors) over and around equipment, people and obstacles.Must be able to tolerate climates ranging from very cold to very hot and form very wet to very dry Must be able to train in and use Self-Contained Breathing Air Packs.No beards allowed for safety reasons.Must be able to communicate and get along well with others.Must be able to climb laddersMust be able to reach, lift and work overhead.Must be able to walk, stand or sit for the duration of the shift.TYPES OF EQUIPMENT REQUIRED TO OPERATE FOR THE POSITIONMultimeterMegometersGround Testing EquipmentVarious small hand toolsDrill pressWeldersCutting toolsAll associated shop equipment
