*Job Summary*

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to shipping, receiving, and inventory management. This position requires a proactive individual who can work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.

*Responsibilities*

  • Load and unload packages and materials from trucks and containers.

  • Operate heavy equipment safely, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and personnel lifting equipment.

  • Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all items are accounted for.

  • Perform order fulfillment tasks, including picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment.

  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency.

  • Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and meet daily targets.

  • Handle materials with care to prevent damage during storage and transportation.

  • Maintain MSD's for chemicals to be stored and handled.

  • Vehicles, equipment and tools inspections, cleaning, maintenance and repairs.

  • Record keeping of daily reports and inventory

  • Able to climb ladders or scaffolds over 12'

  • Must be able to carry minimum of 50lbs. several times a day.

*Experience*

  • Previous experience in a warehouse setting.

  • Familiarity with heavy equipment operation.

  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.

  • Experience with order fulfillment, materials handling, and package management is an advantage.

  • Proficiency in using RF scanners for inventory management is desirable.

  • Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications:

· Valid Forklift Operators card

· Valid Driver's License with a clean record (must provide DMV report)

o Class 'B' License preferred

· Real ID

· Work Authorization

· Drug Free: Must be able to take a drug test and be available for random testing at any time.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Shift availability:

  • Day Shift (Required)
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM - 5PM (occasional overtime as needed)
  • Shifts may change, we are an emergency services operation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
