Definition

The Family Support Coordinator provides supervision, coaching, and quality assurance for the High-Fidelity Wraparound (HFW) program. This position ensures The Children's Cabinet's Wraparound Case Management programs is implemented to fidelity and supports Case Managers in delivering family-driven, youth-guided, and outcome-focused services. The coordinator leads fidelity monitoring, training, and practice improvement initiatives to ensure consistent application of evidence-based wraparound principles across programs. The coordinator also provides oversight for linkage to quality childcare, subsidy navigation, and early childhood supports for families with youth under 13, ensuring access to stabilization and wraparound resources.

This position requires a deep understanding of evidence-based wraparound practice, motivational interviewing, and systems collaboration. The coordinator serves as a coach, mentor, and quality steward for case management team members, working to ensure that fidelity, documentation, and family engagement remain at the highest standard. This role includes oversight of programs and team members, with assignments and reporting structures that may shift in response to funding and organizational priorities. The coordinator supports the Youth and Family Support Manager in advancing the agency's mission to keep children safe and families together through access, stabilization, and community connection.

Duties

  • Achieve a thorough understanding of the agency mission, strategic focus areas, and departmental goals.
  • Provide day-to-day supervision, strength-based coaching, and technical support to HFW Case Managers.
  • Ensure full adherence to program models through supervision, observation, and documentation reviews.
  • Facilitate group coaching sessions and one-on-one staff mentoring to strengthen fidelity and skill development.
  • Review and evaluate wraparound plans for quality, strength-based focus, and inclusion of family and youth voice.
  • Oversee collection and analysis of outcome data, using findings to inform continuous quality improvement and to ensure program is being implemented to fidelity.
  • Coordinate internal audits, support corrective action plans, and maintain fidelity certification documentation.
  • Support linkage to quality childcare, subsidy navigation, and other family support systems for eligible families.
  • Collaborate with community partners, including probation, DCFS, schools, and behavioral health providers, to ensure cohesive care planning.
  • Participate in statewide wraparound learning communities, fidelity reviews, and professional development events.
  • Work closely with the Youth & Family Support Manager to align program goals, staffing, and service quality.
  • Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and professional growth of new case managers.
  • Conduct regular file audits and ensure compliance with documentation standards and confidentiality requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of

  • Food distribution systems, safety standards, and community pantry best practices.
  • Case management and referral processes.
  • Community resource navigation and family stabilization supports.
  • Volunteer coordination and team supervision.
  • Equity, diversity, and trauma-informed practices.

Ability to

  • Supervise, train, and motivate team members and volunteers.
  • Maintain organized operations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Problem-solve and make sound decisions during high-demand situations.
  • Build and sustain relationships with community partners.

Special Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human services or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum two years of experience in case management, food distribution, or social services; one year of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Must have reliable vehicle for work and possess a valid Nevada Driver's License and proof of insurance.
  • May be required to lift up to 40 pounds and perform tasks involving standing, bending, and light physical activity.
  • Must be able to pass a complete background check.
