Assistant Director of School Program-Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Interborough has a large school program in which therapists provide clinical work in over 50 schools, which includes 36 licensed satellite clinics in Brooklyn.
Responsibilities include:
- Supports the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with program requirements and regulations for services.
- Supports the recruitment, training, and supervision of clinical and administrative staff for staff.
- Consult with therapists regarding clinical issues and crises with their clients
- Review the therapist's documentation.
- Maintain positive relationships with school personnel.
- Make school visits when needed.
- Oversee therapists data collection.
- Provide support to schools when schools have a crisis (death of a school personnel)
- Prepare and present workshops to teachers and parents in school.
- Perform the duties of the Director of School Programs in her absence.
Requirements:
- Strong clinical experience.
- Experience supervising and providing therapy to children and adolescents
- Knowledge of the NYC school system.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Licensed Mental Health Counselor(LCSW/LMHC)
