We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Community Manager to oversee and enhance our brand's online presence across various social media platforms. You know what makes audiences tick, stay ahead of platform trends, and have successfully grown and managed social channels across multiple brands.

In this role, you'll own our social media presence end-to-end from brainstorming compelling content ideas and creating scroll-stopping posts to scheduling, community engagement, trend analysis, and measuring what works. Building and nurturing vibrant online communities isn't just part of the job, it's the foundation of everything we do. We live and breathe for our customers.

You're as comfortable crafting attention-grabbing captions and hooks as you are designing visually striking content that stands out. We need someone versatile who can seamlessly shift between strategist, creator, analyst, and community champion.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions across key platforms (including Instagram, Facebook, X, Linkedin, and TikTok).
  • Creating engaging video, copy and photography assets that break through the noise and resonate with the target audience on each channel.
  • Partner cross-functionally with retail, partnerships, and influencers to ensure social content supports larger business priorities.
  • Lead content planning and execution, ensuring timely development of assets and maximizing content opportunities by identifying efficiencies.
  • Leverage Social Listening and Trend Hunting to stay ahead of platform updates, emerging features, and cultural/social trends, ensuring the brand remains relevant, responsive, and innovative.
  • Track, analyze, and report on social performance metrics, using insights to inform ongoing strategy and campaign optimization.
  • Proactively foster a positive and engaged online community through Facebook Groups, IG channels, and Brand Partnerships/Giveaway
  • Engaging and growing our community by actively responding in brand voice, tapping into culture, and building relationships with our audience & larger social communities
  • Monitoring social media platforms for UGC, product feedback, relevant trends, etc.
  • Provide monthly and quarterly performance reporting with data-backed insights and recommendations.
  • Ideating content ideas across multiple media platforms and tools, contributing to team brainstorms, content plans, and online execution
  • Defining and tracking KPIs/success metrics monthly in collaboration with the Marketing Team
  • Be the social and community expert to our larger brand and sales team, bringing customer insights and updates and pushing our team to continually support our social audience with other brand initiatives.

Skills

  • Expertise in social media marketing tactics including Facebook Advertising and branding initiatives.
  • Excellent written communication skills with an eye for proofreading and content creation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong relationship management skills to engage with online communities effectively.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and digital marketing strategies is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of community management and content creation experience with demonstrated success working in top social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and Linkedin
  • Previous copywriting experience with strong ability to cater to different audiences and platforms while maintaining a strong brand voice
  • Familiarity with social media analytics, editing, and posting tools.
  • Experience in tracking and optimizing social media performance for growth and revenue.
  • Strong time management and organization skills; able to prioritize and manage multiple projects and business initiatives
  • Understanding that social media is 24/7 and may occasionally require monitoring the community on off hours; willing to work reasonably after hours or on weekends to support events.
  • Ability to work on-site at our NJ office getting BTS & Employee-Generated Content as well as film at our in-store retailers and future events/trade shows as needed.
