Position Overview

We are seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our growing team. The nurse will play a key role in supporting clients through detox and early recovery, overseeing medication administration, assessing symptoms, and ensuring that all care meets the highest clinical standards.

Experience with Sunwave EHR is a plus, as this is our primary electronic health record system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, compassionate, and clinically sound care to clients in a residential treatment setting.
  • Administer and document medications, treatments, and client assessments.
  • Monitor withdrawal symptoms and report significant changes to the physician or clinical lead.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Sunwave EHR.
  • Ensure compliance with DHCS, Title 9, Joint Commission, and internal facility protocols.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to support individualized treatment plans.
  • Respond effectively to medical or behavioral emergencies.
  • Promote a calm, therapeutic, and professional environment at all times.

Qualifications

  • Current LVN license in the State of California (required).
  • CPR and First Aid Certification (required).
  • TB test and pre-employment physical (required).
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a behavioral health, detox, or medical setting preferred.
  • Familiarity with Sunwave EHR preferred.
  • Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
