We are looking for an Associate Graduate – Global Pricing Actuary, based in New York

Job Purpose/Role

We are seeking aspiring Actuarial Science Bachelor's graduates who are interested in joining our Global Pricing team, helping to drive the global implementation of costing and pricing excellence for all commercial business.

The Ideal Candidate Will Be An Intellectually Curious, Team-minded Contributor. You Will Spend The First 12 Months You Are With Us Learning Alongside a Team Of Senior And Experienced Staff, Participating In Strategic Projects, And Grasping The Basics Of Case Pricing And Supporting Portfolio Profitability Reviews. As An Associate Graduate – Global Pricing Actuary You Will Benefit From

  • Exposure to global pricing across lines of business and the ability to build your actuarial knowledge.
  • Performing a combination of both independent and team-driven tasks that may be regular, (e.g., monthly or quarterly) or project/ad hoc in nature.

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience
You are/were among the top graduates of your class and have completed your university degree or post-graduate study. As the ideal candidate for the Associate Program you should be able to offer:

  • Relevant work experience: e.g., 1-2 years prior experience gained through internships, academic projects or employment;
  • Passed at least two Actuarial exams (CAS);
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills with great attention to detail;
  • Ability to effectively absorb information from various sources, then analyze, study or examine data in detail, draw appropriate conclusions and present solutions to others;
  • Strong computer fundamentals such as Excel, VBA and SQL or Python experience preferred;
  • A curious and creative mindset, willingness to learn and enthusiasm to own and drive your personal development;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain personal relationships with colleagues, peers, managers and customers;
  • Strong problem resolution and analytical skills as well as the ability to grasp and solve complex issues and present solutions to others effectively;
  • Ability to assess the impact of issues, proposed strategies and alternative solutions within the general business planning environment;
  • Ability to utilize AI tools to support day-to-day tasks, improve efficiency and contribute to data-driven decision making;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; and
  • Professional "can do" attitude, motivation, enthusiasm and drive for success.

The annualized base pay for this role is $83,500. The base pay is just one component of the AzC total compensation package. As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, employees are also eligible for annual performance-based cash incentive awards
