#Job Description:

The SAP Treasury SME will support multiple finance, treasury, and banking activities related to the client's S/4HANA migration. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in SAP ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA Treasury, with configuration, testing, documentation, and integration responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as IT point of contact/SME for Finance, Treasury, and Banking systems during the S/4HANA migration.
• Collaborate with system integrators, internal IT, and finance teams for configuration, development, testing, and enhancements.
• Understand current-state business processes and support mapping to S/4HANA To-Be processes.
• Participate in review and testing across ECC and S/4 environments under the SMART project.
• Support data profiling, cleansing, reconciliation, and validation for finance master and transactional data.
• Ensure all system modifications and upgrades are thoroughly tested and documented.
• Assist with project tracking, reporting, and analysis improvements.
• Identify training needs and support creation of user training materials.
• Assist in issue resolution, cutover support, and post–go-live hypercare.
• Promote best practices for change management and business documentation.

Minimum Experience Required

• 6+ years
  configuring/supporting SAP ECC 6.0 & S/4HANA Treasury and Banking.
• 5+ years
  configuring Treasury processes (bonds, money market, derivatives) integrated with Financial Accounting.
• 5+ years
  processing SAP lockbox files & electronic bank statements.
• 2+ full lifecycle implementations
  in SAP Banking & Treasury.
• Strong knowledge of reporting requirements (SAP Analytics Cloud experience is a plus).
• End-to-end process understanding in SAP Finance, Treasury, and Banking.
• Hands-on experience writing functional/technical specifications, test scripts, and training materials.
• Experience supporting month-end/year-end processes in ECC & S/4.

Desired Skills

• Experience integrating SAP ECC/S4 with external systems/vendors.
• Background job processing in ECC/S4 for finance & treasury.
• Experience handling ACH, check, RTP, and digital payments in SAP.
• Integration with external banks & collection agencies.
• ServiceNow and Azure DevOps (ADO) experience.
• Brownfield migration experience (ECC → S/4HANA), cloud migrations, and Fiori transition.
• Ability to develop and execute test cases/scripts (ADO experience preferred).
• Understanding of public-sector finance & treasury regulations.

Education / Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• SAP Treasury & Risk Management (SAP TRM) certification – Highly Preferred.

Engagement Requirements

• Primarily remote but must report onsite during key phases (PI cycles, SIT, UAT, Go-Live, Hypercare).
• Must pick up client-issued equipment in person (no reimbursement for pickup travel).
• Must be able to reach Middletown, PA within 3 hours for emergencies.
• Must complete client onboarding including background checks (ePATCH, national criminal check), NDA, and compliance forms.
• Must follow client IT standards and maintain professional presence on video calls.
