Are you passionate about advancing the civil engineering profession and shaping the future of water and environmental infrastructure? The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager, Technical Community to lead and support the technical activities of our Environmental & Water Resources Institute (EWRI) and Coasts, Oceans, Ports, and Rivers Institute (COPRI).

What You'll Do

As Senior Manager, you'll be the driving force behind the technical excellence of ASCE's Water Institutes. You'll:

  • Lead the development of technical manuals, reports, and standards
  • Guide technical programming for national and regional events
  • Collaborate on continuing education initiatives with ASCE's education team
  • Serve as a key liaison to technical committees and executive leadership
  • Supervise and mentor support staff and lead special projects

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, technical field, or association management (Master's preferred)
  • 5–10 years of experience in engineering or technical association management
  • Proven project management and staff supervision experience
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with technical documentation
