The position:
To help us continue expanding our offerings, we're seeking an experienced
Product Manager
with a strong background in
identity verification, fraud prevention, and risk management
. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing data-driven, AI-powered products that help teams detect and prevent fraud, optimize account onboarding, and manage risk. An understanding of the challenges faced by risk and fraud teams in fintech, payments, e-commerce, and digital identity ecosystems is important.
The ideal candidate will combine analytical rigor with a deep understanding of market forces shaping
fraud prevention, identity verification, and trust intelligence
. They will lead discovery, validate opportunities through customer engagement, and translate insights into actionable product requirements.
What you'll do:
- Lead continuous market and competitive research to identify trends, unmet needs, and emerging opportunities in identity, fraud prevention, and trust scoring.
- Analyze customer needs, market trends, and competitive offerings across fraud prevention, identity verification, and trust scoring solutions.
- Translate market insights into evidence-based product requirements and roadmap recommendations.
- Define and communicate clear product requirements, ensuring teams understand the business value, ROI, and purpose behind their work.
- Drive the execution of product requirements end-to-end; coordinating with cross-functional teams, tracking delivery progress, and ensuring timely, high-quality releases.
- Collaborate across teams to guide the product lifecycle; from market research and requirements definition, to roadmap planning, QA, and launch execution.
- Drive market research and voice-of-customer programs, gathering direct evidence from customers and prospects to shape data-driven product direction.
- Translate product strategy into actionable requirements for engineering, data science, and AI/ML teams.
- Communicate product value, ROI, and business impact to all stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to define positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies that differentiate Pipl in fintech, payments, and digital identity markets.
- Establish, monitor, and optimize KPIs to continuously improve fraud detection accuracy, reduce false positives, and increase customer trust.
Requirements:
You have:
- 3–5 years of experience in product management within identity verification, fraud prevention, or risk management.
- Deep understanding of risk management processes, team workflows, and operational challenges in fintech, payments, e-commerce, and account onboarding.
- Experience engaging directly with customers, partners, and cross-functional teams.
- Highly effective in managing cross-functional teams and communicating technical and business concepts to all stakeholders.
- Analytical, data-driven, and experienced in defining, tracking, and achieving KPI targets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with payments, onboarding/KYC/KYB processes, and digital identity verification workflows.
- Familiarity with leading platforms and tools in fraud prevention, identity verification, and risk management.
- Experience delivering go-to-market strategies for B2B SaaS products in fintech, e-commerce, or digital identity.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in business, marketing, product management, or related field.
