As part of its strategic expansion, Hashstacs is establishing a new regional headquarters in Los Angeles to accelerate growth across the Americas. The U.S. subsidiary will focus on developing and scaling custody services for digital assets, ensuring secure storage, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence to support enterprise and institutional clients.

Job Overview

The Vice President of Custody Services (VP, Americas) will serve as a senior member of Hashstacs' executive leadership team, responsible for leading the development, delivery, and operations of custody and digital asset safekeeping services across the Americas.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP will oversee custody infrastructure, client onboarding, operational processes, and risk management, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate is a highly experienced leader in digital asset custody, blockchain, or fintech operations. They will have a proven ability to implement secure, scalable, and compliant custody solutions while delivering measurable business outcomes in complex, regulated markets.

Key Responsibilities

Custody Services Strategy & Leadership

Develop and execute Hashstacs' custody services strategy for the Americas, aligned with corporate objectives.

Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive team on digital asset safekeeping, operational efficiency, and market trends.

Define KPIs, success metrics, and frameworks to evaluate custody operations, service quality, and risk management.

Ensure consistent execution of global custody standards, policies, and regulatory compliance frameworks.

Custody Operations & Risk Management

Lead initiatives to design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable custody infrastructure for digital assets.

Oversee client onboarding, account management, and operational processes to ensure seamless service delivery.

Collaborate with compliance, legal, and technology teams to mitigate operational, security, and regulatory risks.

Represent Hashstacs at industry forums, conferences, and client meetings to showcase custody capabilities and strengthen credibility.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership

Work closely with product, sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams to ensure custody initiatives align with regional and global objectives.

Build, mentor, and lead high-performing custody operations teams, fostering accountability, operational excellence, and client-centric culture.

Promote a culture of transparency, compliance, and continuous improvement across custody operations.

Ensure alignment between regional custody operations and headquarters' strategy.

Performance Analytics & Continuous Improvement

Monitor operational KPIs, client satisfaction, and risk metrics to evaluate effectiveness and guide improvements.

Leverage data-driven insights to optimize custody processes, security measures, and service delivery.

Support executive reporting to the CEO and board on custody performance, operational risks, and strategic opportunities.

Qualifications

Over 20 years of senior leadership experience in custody services, digital asset operations, or fintech service delivery.

Proven track record of developing and scaling secure, compliant, and operationally efficient custody solutions.

Deep understanding of blockchain technology, digital assets, and enterprise client ecosystems.

Strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills with experience influencing executive-level decisions.

Bachelor's degree in finance, business, technology, or related discipline required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
