Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Fresh Fish Cutter to join our team in providing high-quality seafood products to our customers. This role involves precise fish preparation, packaging, and ensuring food safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have experience in food production and handling, with a passion for culinary excellence and customer service. Duties

  • Carefully cut, fillet, and prepare fresh fish according to established standards and specifications
  • Package fish products securely for retail or wholesale distribution
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work stations in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Assist with inventory management and proper storage of seafood products
  • Ensure all food handling procedures meet health and safety guidelines
  • Support team members in food preparation tasks as needed
  • Adhere to quality control standards to deliver fresh, high-quality products to customers

Requirements

  • Prior experience in food production, kitchen work, or culinary roles preferred
  • Strong knife skills and experience with meat or fish cutting techniques
  • Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
  • Familiarity with packaging and food preparation standards within the food industry or restaurant environment
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills when interacting with team members or customers
  • Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is a plus but not mandatory
  • Ability to work part-time hours with flexibility for shifts as scheduled
