Job Title: Principal RF Engineer
Employment Type: Onsite / Full-Time
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Principal RF Engineer to lead the lifecycle management of RF hardware and systems, including design, analysis, testing, and field deployment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in antenna systems, RF communications, and satellite ground station architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct design reviews and trade studies.
- Develop and execute deployment strategies for RF hardware.
- Perform integration, testing, and field support.
- Provide operational support throughout the hardware lifecycle.
- Collaborate with teams to address complex engineering problems.
- Travel as needed for field deployments (up to 25%).
Requirements:
- Bachelor's in STEM.
- Minimum 8 years RF engineering experience.
- Expertise in RF hardware, communications, and system integration.
- Experience with satellite ground stations, antenna design, and link performance analysis.
- Proficiency in RF test equipment usage.
- Ability to obtain U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Experience with amplifiers, feed antennas, and reflector systems.
- Ability to perform trade studies, vendor evaluations, and solution recommendations.
- Knowledge of timing signals, networking, or INFOSEC.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
