Job Title: Principal RF Engineer
Employment Type: Full-Time / Onsite
Job Overview:
Join our team as a Principal RF Engineer to design, test, and integrate RF systems, providing critical technical expertise in antenna and satellite ground station technologies. This role supports mission-critical operations and involves collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform trade studies and design evaluations.
- Develop and oversee RF hardware deployment plans.
- Lead testing, integration, and fielding efforts.
- Ensure operational readiness and lifecycle support of systems.
- Collaborate across teams to address technical challenges.
- Occasional travel up to 25% for deployments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in RF engineering.
- Strong knowledge of RF communications, system integration, and antenna design.
- Experience with satellite ground station architectures and RF link analysis.
- Proficiency with RF testing tools and methodologies.
- U.S. citizenship with eligibility for security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- TS/SCI clearance preferred.
- Experience with high-power amplifiers and feed/reflector systems.
- Ability to translate mission needs into technical solutions.
- Knowledge of networking, timing systems, or cyber security.
- Strong independent problem-solving and teamwork skills.
