We have fun, grow together, and strive to leave a positive lasting impression on everyone we meet.What you'll do:The Brass TacksProvide stellar, engaging, and upscale service experiences for all our guests throughout their entire stay.Ensure guests are properly greeted upon their arrival with a smile and positive attitude.Establish friendly relationships with regular and/or long-term hotel guests.Handle guest inquiries and research unknown answers accurately and in a timely manner.Monitor daily bookings and ensure assigned rooms are prepared prior to check-in, including regular communication with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage (F&B) teams for smooth check-ins.Perform check-in and check-out procedures, and administrative tasks including answering phones, creating reservations, and handling financial transactions.Inform guests of our hotel services, including breakfast and dining options.Concierge – stay updated on local tourist spots, including places to dine, shop, local sight-seeing, Austin area events, hair salons/barber shops, spas, etc. in order to make quality recommendations.Actively listen to and resolve guest questions, concerns, and complaints.Ensure accommodations for select guests (e.g., special needs, elderly, children, VIPs, other) receive personalized services to help them navigate a safe and comfortable stay here.Engage guests in conversation to learn more about them and their visit, in order to elevate their stay here. The goal is to make our hotel their "home away from home."Strong coordination and communication between guests and team members, as well as followup, to ensure guest concerns are resolved in a timely mannerPromote all hotel amenities, conveniences, and programs offered (e.g., food delivery, dry cleaning, events, other)Coordinate luggage collection and storage.Liaise with all departments to provide an overall comfortable guest experience.Communicate guest updates with Housekeeping team via communication tools.Show up to work on time and notify Front Desk and Front Office Manager if running late or calling out, according to Hotel policy. Other duties assigned as neededThe Nitty GrittyOpen availability to be scheduled according to business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred.Previous experience in cash handling & computerized Point of Sale system preferred.Strong written and verbal communication skills required.Don't meet every single requirement?
