Oakridge Sand & Gravel is looking for an experienced admin assistant for immediate placement

Job Overview

The Office Administrative assistant supports both the office manager and controller in our Eugene office. A successful admin will provide work in a timely and accurate manner, with the goal of assisting to make the entire organization run efficiently. This position is essential to the daily operations of the business while supporting the administrative aspects as well.

We envision this position to be 30 hours per week to start with potential of 40 hours per week during the busy season (May - November). Hours may go back to 25-30 hours per week during rainy season.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Performing data entry tasks accurately and reliably
  • Bookkeeping - Able to input payables/receivables
  • Dispatch – Schedule and provide logistical report for customer deliveries
  • Purchasing - Receive, review and process incoming invoices
  • Help with filing and creating organized processes
  • Assist office manager with regulatory compliance
  • Assist office manager with weekly payroll
  • Marketing - Work with controller to update website, job ads, etc.

Qualifications

  • High School Education required, some college preferred
  • Some road construction or quarry experience preferred
  • Must have advanced Microsoft Excel experience
  • Willing to perform data entry tasks
  • Willing to learn, communicates well, works as part of a team
  • Clean driving record
  • Willingness to be flexible with hours, especially during March - November busy season
  • Able to effectively manage time and multi-task

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 per hour
