VSD/VFD Field Service Engineer

Our client is seeking a skilled and driven Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer to support their Automation product line with new product introduction projects, product series maintenance and support.

Responsibilities

  • Support Automation product line with new product introduction projects, product series maintenance and support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and develop electromechanical systems, products, and components.
  • Integrate components into design process, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
  • Providing documentation, including design guidelines, to help with product manufacturing and implementation.
  • Research, design, assemble and test prototypes and document all results.
  • Assist in analyzing, reviewing, comparing, and proposing rectification on product cost.
  • Independently work and coordinate with sales, marketing, operations, production, and manufacturing to provide technical data and product information for prototype manufacturing through to product commercialization.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university, or at least five years of related experience and/or training; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • Proficient with electrical drawings / design
  • Good Knowledge of International Codes and Standards
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Altium Design Software.
  • Knowledge on Low Power and Digital Electronics.
  • Knowledge on use and operation of Variable Frequency Drives.
  • Familiarity with Oil and Gas Automation applications and the associated equipment.
  • Sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • On-site presence at our Missouri City, Texas facility is a requirement for this position.
