This team-oriented culture is defined by transparent communication, collaborative development and deployment of procedures and best practices, a customer service mindset both internally and externally, and a strong commitment to safety.Field Service Engineer:As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for commissioning UPS, batteries and PDU at a specified customer site following predetermined script. Provide accurate and timely communication to internal and external customers. Keep current on Safety Field Change Notices and Service Tips.Requirements:5+ years' experience in this field and ability to follow MOPS on equipment such as UPS, batteries, PDU's / Power Distribution Units, Static Automatic Transfer Switches, Branch Circuit Monitoring, and other electrical equipmentWorking knowledge of OHM's law and electronic theory3 phase/480v experience requiredFamiliarity with electrical/electronic test equipment and fundamentals.Ability to read and interpret electrical line diagrams and blueprints.Ability to evaluate the operating conditions of equipment.Standard computer skills including MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.Mechanical aptitude.Clear, concise, written and verbal communication skills.Ability to interact comfortably with all levels of internal and external customers.Must have the ability and self-motivation to manage one's own schedule.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, up to 40lbs.Ability to climb ladders and multiple flights of stairs to access elevated equipmentAbility to stand for long periods of time in various work environmentsAbility to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for equipment related tasksBasic physical fitness to respond quickly to emergency situations and navigate areas quicklyAbility to move quickly and efficiently withing various work environments to troubleshoot issues or respond to emergencies.Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity for working with small components and connectorsClear vision, with or without correction, to perform tasks requiring attention to detail and precision while wearing safety glassesAbility to differentiate between color-coded warning signs, labels, and cablesAbility to work in environments with a wide variety temperature inside a facilityAbility to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, rain, or snowCapability to work in environments with elevated noise levels while wearing hearing protectionPossession of a valid driver's license for work-related travel, as requiredIf your professional growth and compensation trajectory are restricted in any way, consider –  Stepping into a role with a nationally recognized leader in the Mission Critical marketWorking with an employer who maintains a corporate philosophy to hire only our nation's bestWho invests in and are unilaterally committed to continuing the enrichment of their employeesIf you are a motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for data center services and a knack for building strong client relationships, we want to hear from you.
