Job Summary

The Service Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business, managing existing client accounts, and promoting the full range of Simmers Crane's products and services. This individual will identify opportunities, build customer relationships, and provide technical support to meet client lifting and material handling needs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers within assigned territory or market segment
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry events
  • Understand client needs and recommend appropriate crane systems, components, parts, or services
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, quotes, and presentations tailored to customer specifications
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual terms in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Coordinate with engineering, project management, and service departments to ensure successful order fulfillment and customer satisfaction
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and product developments
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline in CRM.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in industrial equipment, mechanical systems, or related fields
  • Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn about crane systems, hoists, and overhead lifting equipment
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with strong time management abilities
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel regionally as required
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field, preferred
