This role will report directly to the Operations Manager - Phoenix.
Responsibilities
Adherence to MyLand's company values and behaviors.
Deliver exceptional customer service by managing the relationship between growers and operations employees, insuring great communication.
Assure that all operation and maintenance activities are performed in a safe manner consistent with established policies and procedures and lead development of procedures as needed.
Remotely control and monitor systems to perform algae harvesting, cleaning, and diagnostic troubleshooting (Office Environment).
Support scheduled maintenance activities and customer requests on algae generation systems (Farm Field Visits).
Collaborate with Operations and supporting teams to identify and diagnose problems and implement short-term corrective action as well as long-term solutions.
Perform record keeping and reporting on services performed, as well as compile data for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for system and fleet performance.
Support continuous improvement efforts and problem-solving regarding system performance and KPIs, recommending solutions that increase availability and decrease operating cost.
Support service order creation, service order management, and equipment record management in Netsuite.
Support management of the operational spare parts inventory in Netsuite/Shepherd and coordinate with purchasing as necessary to reorder or return parts.
Build and maintain relationships with growers as well as educating them on services provided to optimize algae distribution.
As needed, perform basic system service and maintenance on in-field systems and soil sampling
Skills & Qualifications
At least 2 years of technical service experience, apprenticeship, or relevant work experience. At least 1 year of operations experience at MyLand is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is preferred.
Prior Agricultural industry experience is preferred.
Prior experience with process controls is preferred.
Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time using software to remotely control systems using a computer.
Must be able to follow, create, and improve operational procedures.
Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Power Point, Outlook, and Excel). Strong Excel skills are preferred. Microsoft Teams, NetSuite and SharePoint are imperative
Experience with electronics, remote system controls, and input/output devices
Ability to safely install, repair, service, test, and troubleshoot plumbing, mechanical, and electrical equipment.
Ability to work flexible and weekend hours.
Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Working knowledge of hand and power tools and personal protective equipment.
Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Must be able to lift, carry, transport equipment, tools, and materials up to 125 lbs with assistance
