As our Aftermarket Account Executive, you'll be the specialist customers call first, translating real-world production challenges into smart solutions: parts, upgrades, field service, and training that keep lines humming.

Your mission

Serve as the subject matter expert on Viking nailing machines. Earn customer confidence through technical insight and responsive service. Grow aftermarket revenue—and when a customer's needs point to new machinery, partner with our Regional Sales Managers to hand off qualified opportunities.

How you'll make an impact
  • Consult with customers to recommend the right parts, upgrade kits, service visits, and training programs
  • Showcase Viking at trade shows and industry events to generate demand
  • Maintain a disciplined sales cadence and accurate CRM updates
  • Be the customer's advocate—support current products and ensure needs are addressed
  • Visit plants to deepen relationships and uncover improvement opportunities
  • Deliver on revenue and margin commitments
  • Resolve product issues in collaboration with technical teams
  • Work hand-in-hand with Field Service and cross-functional partners to deliver exceptional experiences
  • Coordinate internally to expand sales and market share while passing new equipment leads to Regional Sales Managers
What sets you up for success
  • Minimum 2 years in capital equipment sales/service; pallet or wood sector exposure is a plus
  • Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude with machine systems
  • Track record of sourcing and managing leads through a CRM
  • Polished communication, initiative, and organizational rigor
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

  • Dynamics 360 CRM
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Travel

Average travel is 50% with both domestic and international trips for customer visits, trade shows, and company events.

**Pay and benefits

This is a full-time exempt position. The typical schedule is standard business hours with occasional hours on nights and weekends as business needs dictate.

Compensation & benefits

Base pay starts at $80,000 and can reach $120,000 depending on experience and skills. A commission incentive is also included.
