You will be the Security Officer for our facility, safeguarding classified information and ensuring strict compliance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP). Our team protects critical government assets, supports mission critical projects, and maintains the highest security standards across all sites.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Security Officer you will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving our security posture. You will work directly with the Facility Security Officer (FSO) and serve as the primary point of contact for all security related matters, both on site and at off site locations.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Enforce company security policies and NISP regulations, conducting routine assessments and corrective actions.
• Maintain and update procedures for handling, storing, and tracking classified material, including DD 254 contracts.
• Administer personnel clearances, issue and control identification cards, and manage the Security Information Management System (SIMS).
• Perform COMSEC accounting, documentation, and reconciliation of cryptographic material.
• Coordinate physical security measures for the main facility and any off site locations, including access control and perimeter protection.
• Provide security education, briefings, and training materials to all employees and contractors.
• Participate in internal and external audits, preparing required documentation and corrective action plans.
• Serve as the liaison with government security agencies, responding to inquiries and facilitating inspections.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access and is in direct support of a U.S. government contract that requires a company-sponsored clearance to start.

Basic Qualifications:

• Knowledge of corporate industrial security protocol.

• Computer skills, including working knowledge of Office 365 products.

• Ability to multi-task and use time management effectively.

• Understanding of OPSEC program requirements.

• Must possess a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, written and oral communications skills.

Desired Skills:

• Previous crisis management experience.

• Lockheed Martin Security experience beneficial.

• Experience with service contracts, DD254's.

• Experience with classified systems.

• Experience in/with the following: Guard Force Management, Crisis Management, Threat Management, CCTV and access control systems.

• Familiarity with DoD M (AA&E), UL 2050, ICD 705, and ATF requirements preferred. Familiarity with DISS, SIMS, NISS, , and Lenel beneficial.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
