As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Lexington, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment for employees and visitors. Your visible presence, routine patrols, and outstanding customer service will contribute to a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with the flow of personnel and visitors according to site protocols for food and beverage environments.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards within the location.
• Work closely with location staff to support a secure environment while maintaining a professional presence.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports promptly and with attention to detail.
• Follow all Allied Universal and location-specific guidelines while upholding high standards of customer service.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
