Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented DENTAL Treatment Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The Treatment Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating patient care, managing medical records, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate patient treatment plans and ensure timely communication between patients and healthcare providers.
  • Manage medical records and documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Utilize electronic dental record systems such as OPEN DENTAL for efficient patient management.
  • Provide clerical support including scheduling appointments, answering multi-line phone systems, and maintaining organized filing systems.
  • Review documentation for accuracy and completeness while adhering to medical terminology standards.
  • Assist in the development of care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor while providing exceptional patient service in a clinical or dental office environment.

Skills

  • Proficient in dental collection processes and insurance verification procedures.
  • Familiarity with dental management systems including OPEN DENTAL is highly desirable.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus for effective communication with diverse patient populations.
  • Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred; familiarity with clinic operations is beneficial.
  • Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on patient interaction and front desk responsibilities.
