Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented DENTAL Treatment Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing patient care processes, ensuring that treatment plans are effectively communicated and executed. The Treatment Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating patient care, managing medical records, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient treatment plans and ensure timely communication between patients and healthcare providers.
- Manage medical records and documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize electronic dental record systems such as OPEN DENTAL for efficient patient management.
- Provide clerical support including scheduling appointments, answering multi-line phone systems, and maintaining organized filing systems.
- Review documentation for accuracy and completeness while adhering to medical terminology standards.
- Assist in the development of care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while providing exceptional patient service in a clinical or dental office environment.
Skills
- Proficient in dental collection processes and insurance verification procedures.
- Familiarity with dental management systems including OPEN DENTAL is highly desirable.
- Bilingual skills are a plus for effective communication with diverse patient populations.
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred; familiarity with clinic operations is beneficial.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on patient interaction and front desk responsibilities.
