Job Title: Adult Residential Facility Program Coordinator
Job Summary:
The Adult Residential Facility Program Coordinator oversees the development, implementation, and coordination of programs and services within the residential facility for adults with mental health disorders. They play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care, promoting a therapeutic environment, and enhancing residents' overall well-being and recovery through the effective management of programs and activities.

Schedule:
Tuesday - Saturday

9am - 5pm

Occasional overtime hours maybe approved

Responsibilities:

  • Program Development: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to design, implement, and evaluate programs that meet the diverse needs and preferences of residents, including therapeutic groups, recreational activities, skill-building workshops, and community outings.
  • Coordination and Scheduling: Develop program schedules, coordinate activities, and ensure that programs are delivered in a timely and organized manner, taking into account residents' treatment plans, therapeutic goals, and individual interests.
  • Staff Supervision: Provide guidance, training, and supervision to program staff, including activity coordinators, aides, and volunteers, ensuring they are well-equipped to support residents and facilitate engaging and meaningful programming.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor the effectiveness and impact of programs through regular evaluation, feedback collection, and performance metrics, making adjustments as needed to improve outcomes and enhance residents' experiences.
  • Collaborative Care Planning: Work closely with therapists, nurses, social workers, and other members of the treatment team to integrate program activities into residents' individualized treatment plans, ensuring alignment with therapeutic goals and recovery objectives.
  • Resident Engagement: Promote residents' participation and engagement in programs and activities, encouraging social interaction, skill development, and personal growth, while respecting individual preferences and levels of readiness.
  • Community Partnerships: Establish and maintain relationships with community organizations, service providers, and volunteers to enhance program offerings, expand residents' access to resources, and facilitate opportunities for community integration and socialization.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, documentation requirements, and facility policies related to program coordination, maintaining accurate records, program reports, and assessments as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in program development, coordination, or management within a mental health, social services, or residential care setting.
  • Knowledge of therapeutic interventions, group facilitation techniques, and person-centered care approaches.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, residents, and external partners.
  • Commitment to promoting a recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and client-centered approach in program development and service delivery.
