Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the well-being and comfort of our patients.

Duties:

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers

  • Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse

  • Assist with patient assessments and triage

  • Provide wound care and perform dressing changes

  • Collect samples for laboratory testing

  • Assist with diagnostic procedures, such as cardiac catheterization

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans

  • Educate patients and their families on health management and self-care techniques

Qualifications:

  • Valid LPN license in the state of [DC]

  • Familiarity with sterile processing techniques and aseptic technique

  • Strong ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate care

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
