As an
Accounts Receivable Associate I
, you'll play a key role in ensuring that all incoming payments are accurately processed and recorded. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision, enjoys researching discrepancies, and is ready to grow within an accounting team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately record payments received from customers in a timely manner.
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies and account issues.
  • Process account adjustments, as necessary.
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to confirm all payments are correctly applied.
  • Collaborate with Credit and Customer Service teams to resolve unauthorized deductions, overpayments, and other payment-related matters.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED, required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
  • Beginner to intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective internal and external collaboration.
  • Basic math proficiency and 10-key data entry experience required.
  • Strong written communication skills for email and follow-up correspondence.
  • Familiarity with AS400 systems preferred but not required.
