Newark Winter Village is back for its 6th annual winter season. Newark Winter Village features an 8,000 square foot, outdoor, seasonal ice skating rink every November to January, creating a high- quality experience for skaters and participants that leverages Mulberry Common's picturesque scenery and iconic location directly across from Prudential Arena.

We're looking for Iconic Customer Experience Associates that have a unique combination of skills, personality, and take pride in our work. We need outgoing, friendly, and caring individuals to represent Newark Winter Village. Our mission-focused company is highly entrepreneurial, team- oriented with a culture centered on collaboration, accountability, excellence and service.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Warmly welcome guests and ensure they have an enjoyable experience
  • Accurately conduct check in experience for skating, bumper cars and/or igloo experience
  • Serve as a visible presence and inform/educate visitors as needed
  • Perform various maintenance tasks, including general cleaning inside and outside skate and igloo area
  • Assist skaters on rink as necessary. Assist riders on ice bumper cars. Monitor igloo experience
  • Maintain a professional environment

Work environment:

  • This position is a temporary/ seasonal start November 2025 concluding in January 2026.
  • The position will require work at varied hours/days, especially nights, weekends and holidays
  • A significant portion of the day requires standing and walking
  • All roles are outside in all weather conditions
  • Work location: In person

Requirements:

  • Comfortable working independently or with a team and outside in all weather conditions
  • Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast paced environment and stressful situations
  • Enthusiastic, reliable, and team- oriented, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have excellent guest service skills
  • hardworking, energetic, self-motivated, and dedicated to the details

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week
