Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Director to lead our behavioral mental health team with passion and precision. Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight of all clinical activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor clinical policies and procedures that promote best practices in patient care and safety.
  • Lead efforts to maintain compliance with CARF accreditation standards, preparing for inspections and Georgia Medicaid audits with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Manage behavioral health management processes, including case reviews, treatment planning, and quality assurance initiatives to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care delivery, foster communication, and enhance patient satisfaction.
  • Supervise clinical staff, provide training, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development to build a high-performing team.
  • Oversee clinical management functions such as resource allocation, budgeting related to clinical services, and operational efficiency improvements.
  • Serve as a key liaison between clinical staff, administrative leadership, external partners, and regulatory agencies to ensure seamless communication and compliance.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing clinical data, implementing evidence-based practices, and encouraging innovation in client care.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in clinical management within a behavioral mental health setting, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities.
  • Extensive knowledge of mental health management principles coupled with management skills that inspire teams toward excellence.
  • Familiarity with CARF standards and successful track record in maintaining accreditation readiness.
  • Strong understanding of clinical operations, quality assurance processes, and patient safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop strategic plans that align clinical goals with organizational objectives.
  • Master's Degree in Social Work and Counseling. LCSW, LPC and advanced degrees.
