Optomi, in partnership with a leading financial services organization, is seeking a
Technical Lead
with deep
MuleSoft
experience to guide a senior engineering team through platform enhancements, architecture decisions, and best practice enforcement. This is a
hands-on technical leadership role
that blends high-level architecture guidance with real coding responsibilities.

  • Senior-level experience with
    MuleSoft CloudHub
    and
    API Manager
  • Proven ability to lead development teams and enforce best practices
  • Deep understanding of
    API design
    (RAML, RESTful services)
  • Familiarity with
    integration patterns
    ,
    microservices architecture
    , and
    event-driven design
  • Experience with
    CI/CD pipelines
    ,
    DevOps
    , and
    API security protocols
    (OAuth, JWT, TLS)
  • Strong communication and leadership skills — must be able to explain and justify technical decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities of the right candidate:

  • Act as a
    hands-on technical lead/architect
    for a team of 6 engineers
  • Spend
    50–75%
    of time on architecture, design, and technical leadership
  • Spend
    25–50%
    of time on hands-on coding and platform enhancement
  • Guide developers on deployment pipelines, design standards, and technical troubleshooting
  • Lead code reviews, enforce MuleSoft best practices, and mentor peers
  • Communicate proactively with stakeholders and present technical solutions with clarity
  • Support integration of new platforms and development of real-time APIs
