Job Description:

Meade Engineering is a highly skilled Senior Technical Recruiter with expertise in sourcing and hiring top talent within the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) engineering sector. This role requires a strategic thinker who can develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract high-caliber professionals, ensuring our organization remains at the forefront of the industry.

Job Duties:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies to attract high-caliber MEP professionals, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineers, designers, project managers, and technical specialists.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of passive and active candidates through networking, referrals, industry events, and digital recruiting platforms.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, negotiating offers, and onboarding, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers and senior leadership to understand business objectives and provide talent solutions that align with company goals.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor hiring strategies to maintain a competitive talent acquisition approach.
  • Enhance employer branding efforts by working with HR and marketing teams to position the company as a top employer in the MEP engineering field.
  • Leverage data analytics and recruitment metrics to assess hiring performance and drive continuous improvement in hiring processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in technical recruiting, with a strong emphasis on MEP engineering or related technical disciplines.
  • Proven leadership experience, including managing, mentoring, or coaching recruiting teams.
  • Deep knowledge of MEP engineering roles, industry standards, and technical skill requirements.
  • Proven success in sourcing and engaging passive candidates using advanced recruiting strategies and tools.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with hiring managers, candidates, and industry professionals.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter is a plus).
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority requisitions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
