Job Description:

NetImpact Strategies is seeking a talented Senior System's Administrator to support a local military medical center, located in Ft. Sam Houston, TX. This is a 100% on-site role.

This position is designed to support requirements across all telecommunications activities. The ideal candidate will have subject matter expertise in (Unified Critical Telecommunication Systems) such as nurse call, middleware transport, pocket pagers, and public address systems that intra-communicate supporting urgent and emergent staff within the facility.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure administrative functions of the contract (timekeeping, reports, etc.) are filed with the contract leadership per policy.
  • Act as an on-site lead for all contractors in the branch as it pertains to monthly progress reports to document the status, performance, and compliance of the team's activities
  • Oversee the maintenance, configuration, and operational functionality of unified critical telecommunication systems, including nurse call systems, middleware transport, pocket pagers, and public address systems, ensuring seamless intra-communication within the facility for urgent and emergent staff needs.
  • Implement and maintain security protocols in alignment with CompTIA Security+ and Assured Compliance and Assessment Solution (ACAS) standards, ensuring the protection and compliance of telecommunications systems within a military medical environment.
  • Provide expert-level support for telecommunications and critical communication systems within a 100+ bed hospital environment.
  • Ensure optimal system performance through proactive monitoring, regular system audits, and prompt resolution of technical issues, reducing downtime and maintaining high availability of critical communication infrastructure.

Qualifications:

Required

  • Master's Degree/and or Equivalency (Bachelor's degree+ (2) additional YOE/ HS Diploma + (6) additional YOE).
  • CompTIA Security +, Assured Compliance and Assessment Solution (ACAS), and Microsoft Windows Server 2022 certified with five (5) years of practical experience in a production environment or at the discretion of the government based on excess work experience.
  • Five (5) years or more experience in a major hospital supporting more than 100+ bed environment.
  • Five (5) years of experience supporting military production systems.
  • Ten (10) years of experience supporting Critical communication systems.

  • Ability to work on-site.

  • Active Government Secret Clearance
