The Opportunity

We're seeking a
hands-on, results-driven Operations Manager
to oversee our busy San Francisco Bay Area operation. Based in Burlingame, CA, you'll lead transportation services across
SFO, OAK, and SJC
. This is a 24/7/365 operation—no two days are alike. The right candidate thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and loves being in the field with their team as much as analyzing performance data.

What You'll Do

• Lead & Motivate:
  Directly manage 85–90 drivers across multiple airports, creating a collaborative, high-performance culture.
• Drive Operational Excellence:
  Ensure seamless, safe, on-time crew transportation. Solve issues quickly while upholding SkyHop's high service standards.
• Engage & Develop Drivers:
  Provide hands-on support with scheduling, coaching, and performance management to boost service quality and morale.
• Champion Safety & Compliance:
  Enforce DOT regulations and company safety protocols. Conduct regular inspections and audits of vehicles and drivers.
• Be the Airline Partner's Go-To:
  Serve as the primary contact for airline clients, proactively addressing concerns and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
• Analyze & Report:
  Review key metrics to identify trends, improve operations, and communicate performance to senior leadership.

What We're Looking For

• Proven Operational Leadership:
  5+ years of hands-on management experience overseeing large, diverse teams (50+ employees). Transportation, logistics, or other 24/7 operational industries a plus but not necessary- we need a LEADER
• People-First, Results-Driven Leader:
  Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and retain talent while holding teams accountable to performance and safety standards.
• Decisive and Calm Under Pressure:
  Skilled at managing multiple priorities, resolving challenges in real time, and maintaining operational control in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional Communicator:
  Able to effectively engage with employees at every level—from frontline drivers to airline executives—with professionalism and clarity.
• Operational Excellence Mindset:
  Experienced in workforce planning, cost control, and process optimization to ensure service reliability and profitability.
• Tech-Savvy and Data-Informed:
  Comfortable using scheduling, dispatch, and performance tracking systems to analyze trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Flexible and Committed:
  Available to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support a true 24/7/365 operation.

  $100,000–$125,000 base + up to 20% monthly performance bonus.
