Assistant Manager for Fast Eddies Billiards Job Purpose: Please customers by providing an exceptional, rewarding, and fun experience.

Assistant Manager Job Duties:

  • Hosting a great experience for each and every guest in the building
  • Connecting with the clientele
  • Recognizing and anticipating guest expectations and fulfilling them
  • Assisting the staff in accomplishing the goal of an exceptional guest experience
  • Recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees
  • Communicating job expectations
  • Assisting the GM on planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; enforcing policies and procedures
  • Assisting the GM on data entry of billing; sales reporting; scheduling; and updating price reporting
  • Assisting the GM to control costs by helping with weekly reports on inventory, reviewing and controlling use of product and quantities of preparation; minimizing waste
  • Ensuring high quality of drinks and food prepared
  • Maintains safe, secure, and healthy environment by enforcing sanitation standards and procedures
  • Complying with legal regulations; assisting with regular safety inspections; maintaining parking lot and walkways
  • Maintains ambiance by controlling lighting, background music, and staff morale; reports and assists with maintenance issues; monitoring food presentation and service.
  • Promotes the business through marketing, social media, and the creation of special events
  • Participates in continued education for their field; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.
  • Works some bartender shifts each week; knows all recipes; maintain standards for pouring and presenting product, uphold standards and policies of bar sanitation, timely and efficient service.
  • Enhances company reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Skills/Qualifications: People Management, Foster Teamwork, Giving Feedback, Customer Service, Self-Motivated, Energy Level, Multi-tasking, Resolving Conflict, Verbal Communication, Accounting & Computer skills particularly EXCEL, at least 1 year management experience; at least 1 year bartender experience required. Must be TABC and Food Handler Certified to apply.
