Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitorial Services Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cleaning and maintenance, ensuring that our facilities are kept in pristine condition. This role is essential for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both employees and visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
  • Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
  • Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to ensure surfaces are well-maintained.
  • Handle waste disposal and recycling in accordance with company policies.
  • Perform with custodial duties in commercial settings for a large scale event center
  • Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs to management.
  • Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are ordered, used safely, and stored properly.
  • Ensure bathroom products (soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.) are correct and consistent through out. Ex: Same soap and dispensers in each bathroom, correct paper products for each type of dispenser, etc.
  • Follow safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing is a plus.
  • Experience in commercial cleaning or industrial cleaning environments is required.
  • Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards work responsibilities.
  • Ability to lift moderate weights and perform physical tasks associated with cleaning duties.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $45,000.00 per year
