We are currently accepting applications for a receptionist. The ideal candidate will be well organized, great at time management, and detail oriented.

This is a safety sensitive position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors at the front window, taking business cards or items that will be directed to office employees.
  • Answer and direct phone calls accordingly on a multiline system.
  • Receive incoming mail.
  • Direct package carriers to the mail room then reach out to the specific people so that they may come retrieve their packages.
  • Seal and stamp mail that will be outgoing.
  • Assist with the Safety Department in test scanning and printing.
  • Check the fax system and email the accurate receiver.
  • Receive and handle either cash or checks, communicating with the Production Manager or Assistant.
  • When given checks on Fridays for pickup, distribute them to a specific person (ID is it is an individual).
  • Running errands when requested.
  • Light kitchen cleaning and coffee making in the morning and early afternoon.
  • Laminating, filing, organizing when needed.
  • GPS system: checking that the active pick-up trucks match the time on field logs.
  • Tracking Per Diem for the field workers and dump truck drivers for payroll confirmation on a weekly basis.
  • Directing Mini Storage payments to either the Production Manager or the Production Assistant.
  • Type up lead sheets for possible jobs that estimators may take on.
  • Take complaint calls or messages from those who come to the office and direct them to safety and transportation.
  • Other various tasks as assigned.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

  • Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM
  • 1 Hour Lunch Break, 11:00AM-12:00PM

Required Education and Experience

Entry level position

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

  • Work environment is consistent of an office and facility with construction equipment inventory and repair/service shop and may also include construction job site.
  • Occasional lifting may be required up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time with frequent bending and stooping.

  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test. Pursuant to the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Act 593, this position is a designated safety-sensitive position according to Redstone Construction Group standards & processes.

Job Type: Full-Time Hourly, $16.00-$17.00 DOE
