Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Description

Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, directs, administers, and modifies occupational therapy patient care programs upon assignment after evaluation by the Occupational Therapist. Performs administrative duties and participates in department Performance Improvement, Infection Control, Safety, and Education programs as directed. The staff Occupational Assistant may be assigned to orient staff and students and to assume the duties and responsibilities of the supervisor in the absence of that individual.

Required Qualifications:

• Upon hire: California Occupational Therapy Assistant License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year experience with administrative office duties.
