Job Overview

We are seeking qualified Occupational Therapist to work in assigned SNF

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' needs and develop personalized care plans to improve their daily living skills.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions that promote independence and enhance quality of life.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including speech therapists and medical professionals, to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, goals, and progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Stay updated on medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to provide effective therapy.
  • Provide therapy in various settings, including clinics, schools, skilled nursing facilities, and home health environments.
  • And more as needed by the facility.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology relevant to occupational therapy.
  • Experience in pediatrics and geriatrics is highly desirable.
  • Ability to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Familiarity with speech therapy techniques is a plus.
  • Compassionate approach with a strong commitment to patient care and rehabilitation.
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic techniques based on the unique needs of each patient.
