Our plants are home to high performance teams who are creating quality High Pressure Turbine Nozzles, Low Pressure Turbine Nozzles, and Shrouds for use in commercial and military aircraft engines. The manufacturing processes we use include High Speed Grinding, Brazing / Heat Treat, In-machine deburr, Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) such as Conventional, Speed Drills, CNC and Wire as well as Ultrasonic Cleaning and VPA Coating.
As the Lead Manufacturing Specialist, you will coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and also within departments) according to production schedules. In this role, you will plan and schedule material/production needs. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution.
Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities:
- Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs. Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs
- Optimize inventory and process improvements
- Develop in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline
- Use prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy
- Use some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance
- Use prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of planning, scheduling, and/or supply chain management experience)
- At least an additional 3 years of planning, scheduling, and/or supply chain management experience
- Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn
- Transparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively
- Focused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed
- Leadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborative
