Key Responsibilities

• Perform machine setup, tooling installation, and fixture adjustments according to production specifications.
• Execute efficient changeovers between product runs to minimize downtime.
• Conduct first-piece inspections and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality standards are met.
• Troubleshoot and resolve setup-related issues, machine malfunctions, and process deviations.
• Document setup parameters, maintenance activities, and production data accurately.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize setup processes and improve efficiency.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven mechanical aptitude and dexterity.
• 2+ years of experience in machine setup, changeovers, and adjustments in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for production equipment.
• Adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC troubleshooting or basic programming
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies
• Basic CAD/CAM software proficiency for tooling or fixture design
• Machinist or tool and die background
